Please join us for our Board Leadership Center webinar on Climate Change on Monday, 14 June from 14:00-15:30.

First, our experts - Michael Wagemans, Head of Sustainability at KPMG in Belgium, and Wim Bartels, KPMG's Global Co-Head of KPMG IMPACT Measurement, Assurance & Reporting - will explore how boards can/should engage on the topic of Climate Change and Climate Risk. They'll discuss the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), which has developed guidance to help companies understand and disclose their financial exposure to climate-related risks, and look at what Climate Change and Climate Risk mean from a board governance perspective.

Then, we'll bring in a perspective from the market in a conversation with Véronique Toully, Vice-President and Global Head of Sustainability at UCB. UCB has recently created its External Sustainability Advisory Board to address the sustainability topic from a wider (board) governance perspective. Véronique will share UCB’s commitments to the Science Based Targets, the governance they’ve put in place to address sustainability and UCB’s climate ambitions effectively, the monitoring and progress tracking of results, and how they communicate and engage on the topic. As always, we’ll open up afterwards to questions from participants.

Target audience: Non-executive and executive board members, and those working closely with them, including CFOs and CROs.
